LAS CRUCES - Dona Ana County is seeking volunteers to serve on its Health and Human Services (HHS) Alliance, which serves as the primary advisory body to the HHS Department regarding improvements to the health status of Dona Ana County residents.

The alliance improves coordination and collaboration, nurtures public understanding, strengthens accountability, promotes informed policy-making and provides an opportunity for effective community input. According to HHS Director C. Silvia Sierra, members of the alliance have the opportunity to participate in border-wide issues.

The alliance is soliciting applications for the following vacant categories: advocate, consumer, educational and/or provider.
