LAS CRUCES - A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of anyone involved in a suspected arson at the American Legion building the evening of Jan. 5, post spokesman Kevin Dasing announced Wednesday.

Anyone with any information on the fire is urged to call Clint at (575) 915-7217 or Johnny at (575) 915-7340.

Las Cruces Fire Department crews responded to the fire, at 1185 E. Madrid Ave., at about 9 p.m. Jan 5. Preliminary information appeared to indicate it was intentionally set, according to the Las Cruces Police Department.

An amount of damages was not immediately available.
