Iron worker Ivan Lara of Mesquite pounds in rivets Tuesday about 15 feet off the ground as a new Barnes and Noble bookstore goes up at New Mexico State University. The 45,000-square-foot store will also house the new parking and auxiliary offices and is expected to be finished in July, according to project manager Erik Dunn.
