LAS CRUCES - The Humane Society of Southern New Mexico will host a members and friends meeting 2 p.m. Saturday at Encantada Park Club House, 1000 Coyote Trail, off Solano between Hadley and Spruce.

A panel of experts will speak on the trap, neuter and release strategy for feral cats, followed by a question-and-answer session. Panel members include New Mexico State University feral cat management program director Michel Corella, HSSNM president Frank Bryce, ACTion Programs for Animals' president Michel Meunier and county animal control officer Joe Herrera.
