Dona Ana Sheriff's Office southern units responded to the following incidents between Friday and Tuesday:
• Georgette Nevarez, 20 of Del Cerro, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery against a household member following a fight with her mother on the 100 block of Lomas Street. Nevarez allegedly bit her mother and threatened her with a knife during an argument.
• A teenager in possession of marijuana was reported at 9:15 p.m. Saturday on Crossett Lane in Anthony, N.M. The teen was charged and the case was referred to the state's Children's, Youth and Families Department.
• A deputy responding to a 911 hang-up at 10:50 p.m. Saturday from the 200 block of Tierra Vista, in Anthony, N.M., learned the call was a mis-dial.
• A driver stopped at 11:40 p.m. Saturday at Acequia Linda and Landers for an alleged stop sign violation was arrested for drunken driving.
• A burglar alarm at 11:50 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of Onate was discovered to be a false alarm. The resident was at home at the time.
• A runaway child was reported at 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the 2400 block of Gorman. A deputy who arrived learned the little girl had left her grandmother's house and had gone to her mother's home.
• A party was shut down without incident at 2:20 a.m. Sunday after neighbors reported excessive noise at Duffer and Fourth Street, in Anthony, N.M.

• A runaway was reported at 7:46 a.m. Sunday from the 800 block of Golf Course Road.
• A woman reported to be suicidal and intoxicated was transported at 3:58 p.m. Sunday from Bighorn after she reported suicidal thoughts.
• An attempted theft was stopped at 5:30 p.m. Sunday on an unknown block of Calle del Norte. The owner of a trailer reported that at about 2:30 p.m., he saw a Hispanic male in a pickup truck with paper temporary tags backed up to a flatbed trailer on the property. When confronted, the suspect allegedly fled the scene.
• A report of harassment at 11:15 p.m. Sunday on the 1000 block of Little Road was determined to be a civil matter. A man had gone to his ex-girlfriend's home and was allegedly calling and texting her to retrieve some of his property. A deputy returned the man's property.
• Graffiti at the Women's Cultural Center was found at 11:11 a.m. Monday on the 300 block of Lincoln Street.
• Criminal sexual contact of a minor was reported Monday on Aldaz Road. The case has been turned over to the Criminal Investigation Divi.sion.
• A prowler was reported Monday on an unknown block of St. Anthony's Street. Upon arrival, deputies found two juvenile males who were allegedly tagging a wall of a nearby church. Both boys were charged with criminal property damage.
• A speeding motorist was stopped at 11:30 p.m. Monday on McNutt. The vehicle was towed because the driver had no license, no insurance and expired tags.
• A prowler was reported at 12:07 a.m. Tuesday on the 1100 block of Acequia Seca after a resident heard knocking on a window.áNo one was found in the area.
• A prowler was reported at 4 a.m. Tuesday on the 800 block of West O'Hara Road. The caller thought someone was walking around his house. No one was found in the area.
