The answer by Frank Chavez, center, draws laughs Thursday from the Judicial Nominating Commission, which selected six finalists to fill two vacancies on the 3rd Judicial District Court bench. Chief Deputy District Attorney Susan Riedel, Deputy District Attorney Jacinto Palomino, Marci E. Beyer, Randy M. Castellano, Keith S. Burn and Edith M. Reeves were nominated by the commission. Gov. Susana Martinez will make the final pick. The vacancies were created by the retirement of District Judges Jerald Valentine and Stephen Bridgforth, announced late last year.
