Sandra Baca's first-grade class at University Elementary is pleased to have their principal, Judy Foster, back on campus. Foster and her husband, George, principal of Desert Pride High School in the Gadsden school district, were seriously injured in a head-on crash with an alleged drunken driver on Dec. 4. "I'm feeling good," she said Wednesday. "I'm glad to be back. It's really nice to get into the classrooms and see the kids." She said a tub full of cards the couple received from students was "definitely encouraging" and helped them recover during their stay in the hospital. "It was really uplifting." Foster said.
