Toni Angel, 15, a ninth-grader at Arrowhead Park Early College High School (ECHS), gave her perspective Tuesday about school to Dr. Brenda Dann-Messier, U.S. Assistant Secretary for Vocational and Adult Education, left, and LCPS Superintendent Stan Rounds. Dann-Messier spent time with students and staff of the Arrowhead Park ECHS during a visit to New Mexico to gather information on how to improve career and technical education programs. Angel told the assistant secretary that the new high school, located at Doña Ana Community College, offers a small enrollment, creating fewer distractions for students working toward high school and college associate's degrees, simultaneously. Dann-Messier also visited with DACC staff and took a tour of the DACC Workforce Center.
