LAS CRUCES - Three men were hospitalized with stab wounds Sunday in two incidents that remain under investigation, the Las Cruces Police Department said Monday.
Shortly after 7 a.m. on Sunday, police were called to the 2100 block of South Solano Drive, where several party-goers had allegedly been arguing. The argument reportedly led to an affray and at least four gunshots were believed to have been fired prior to officers' arrival.
No injuries were reported apart from one man's multiple minor cuts from a knife, which were not believed to be life-threatening. He was transported to Memorial Medical Center.
At 8:30 p.m., officers were sent to the 800 block of Maple Street where they found two men with stab wounds. Their injuries were also not life-threatening but warranted transportation to University Medical Center in El Paso.
No arrests have been made in either case. Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS (8477) or send a tip via text message to LCTIPS (528477).
It's unknown if either incident was gang-related.
