LAS CRUCES - The city's Regional Aquatic Center and Frenger Pool are closed.

A failure in the main re-circulation line has caused the aquatic center to close. Repairs are being made and the facility is anticipated to reopen Wednesday.

Frenger Pool is closed indefinitely. The pool's boiler completely failed due to recent weather conditions. An assessment of the damage by city staff members is under way and repairs or replacement of the boiler will be made as soon as possible.
