Monday

• A domestic disturbance was reported at 12:36 a.m. on the 800 block of Birdie. The deputy found the female allegedly locked the male out of the home.

• A domestic disturbance was reported at 1 a.m. on the 400 block of Ramsey. After a Super Bowl party, a husband and wife had started arguing over their water pipes being broken and not fixed for four days. Both were described as extremely intoxicated.

• Guillermo Soltero was arrested and charged with aggravated drunken driving, marijuana possession and other miscellaneous traffic offenses after a traffic stop at 1 a.m. near Stern and Union.

• Trespassing was reported at 1:05 a.m. on the 300 block of San Francisco in Las Cruces. The complainant wanted an unwanted person removed from his property. The subject was issued a warning card and escorted home.

• Telephone harassment was reported at 1:50 a.m. on the 700 block of Madison stemming from the earlier incident on Birdie. A man and his fiancée had walked to her parents' house, where the parents had been told the man had made a statement about killing himself or his fiancée after drinking several beers at a Super Bowl party.

• Suspicious circumstances were reported at 3 a.m. on the 9300 block of Bataan Memorial in Las Cruces. A deputy found an open, unsecured semi-trailer. The owner said nothing was missing.

A possibly intoxicated female was reported at 12:25 a.m. at a port of entry into the country. Border Patrol allegedly kept her for so long that she sobered up. Several citations were issued.

• A man reported hearing someone trying to break into his back door at 1 a.m. on the 7500 block of Amber Drive. When deputies arrived, the suspect was gone.

• A woman called at 1:30 a.m. from the 5200 block of Nike Drive wanting her child back from this residence.

• A 911 hang-up was reported at 2:05 a.m. on the 1600 block of Church Street. No one was found at the location and the store was secure.

• Two males reported to possibly be fighting at 2:15 a.m. on Curry Court were found to just being loud.

• Kimberly Ramirez was arrested and charged with battery on a household member at 2:36 a.m. on the 400 block of N.M. 192 in Mesquite, N.M.

• A prowler was reported at 3:08 a.m. on the 5200 block of Quail. An ex-girlfriend allegedly wanted to reconcile.

• An alarm was reported at 4:15 a.m. at Cradles and Crayons day care on McCombs.

• Spray-painted graffiti on a brick wall was reported at 7:54 a.m. on the 700 block of Madison in Anthony.

• A chain link fence was reported cut at 7:58 a.m. at the Moongate Water Company. Nothing was reported taken.

• An inmate release notification was attempted to be served at 8:40 a.m. on the 400 block of N.M. 192.

• A verbal argument over personal property was reported at 9:42 a.m. on the 9090 block of Hill Street.

• Claudia Martha was arrested at 10:33 a.m. on a charge of driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop at N.M. 187, mile marker 3. Her vehicle was impounded.

• An assault was reported at 10:58 a.m. on the 2200 block of North Valley Drive after a juvenile allegedly assaulted a staff member. Juvenile Probation was contacted and a citation issued.

• A man and woman got in a custody dispute over their small child at 12:06 p.m. on the 3200 block of El Camino Real. The male dropped off the child and left after the argument.

• Simon Ontiveros was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop at 12:17 p.m. near South Main Street and Hollyhock. His vehicle was impounded.

• A barbed wire fence near a vacant lot was reported cut at 4:30 p.m. on the 1500 block of Igou.

• A man called at 4:45 p.m. to request deputies check on the welfare of his children on the 200 block of Maldonado. The deputy found the children were fine.

• Sophia Torrez was arrested and charged with battery against a household member at 4:55 p.m. after allegedly punching someone on the 100 block of John Grisham.

• A bulldog puppy was reported stolen at 5 p.m. from the 600 block of Maguey.

• Criminal property damage and a domestic disturbance was reported at 6 p.m. on the 200 block of Emerson.

• Cynthia Telles was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop at 6:14 p.m. on the 800 block of East Thorpe.

• Daniel Hein Jr. was arrested and charged with battery against a household member at 8:12 p.m. on the 5400 block of Angel Fire Court after allegedly punching and biting the victim.

• A vehicle was impounded and a driver charged with driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop at 8:27 p.m. near Union and College.

• Rigoberto Hernandez, 23, was arrested on outstanding warrants and issued several citations after a traffic stop at 9:15 p.m. on the 1200 block of Church Street.

• A domestic disturbance was reported at 11:54 p.m. on the 800 block of Madison. The argument between mother and daughter allegedly started in Texas and continued when they got home.

• Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at 12:04 a.m. on the 500 block of East Lisa in Chaparral, N.M. The girlfriend and boyfriend who were arguing agreed to separate for the night.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 12:39 a.m. parked illegally near Deer Circle and Buck Street in Anthony, N.M. Four occupants were cited for possession of open containers of alcohol. The vehicle was impounded.

• A breaking and entering was reported at 12:47 a.m. on the 2600 block of El Camino Real. The victim reported their front door kicked in but said nothing was missing.

• A driver was charged for a suspended license after a traffic stop at 1:07 a.m. near South Main Street and Bell.

• A vehicle was impounded and its driver charged with no license after a traffic stop at 1:18 a.m. near Bataan Memorial East and Rinconada.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 1:24 p.m. at the apartments on the 800 block of Clark Street in Anthony, N.M. An adult male occupant who smelled strongly of alcohol was allegedly found with a cocaine-like substance in his possession. He was taken into custody pending further investigation by the sheriff's office and the Metro Narcotics Agency.

• Adult Probation and Parole asked the sheriff's office to contact a parolee at 2:21 a.m. on the 100 block of Crossett Lane in Anthony, N.M. after the first office reported being unable to make contact with him due to the inclement weather. The monitoring device reportedly lost its signal also. Deputies were able to make contact with the male and confirm he was OK.

• Deputies attempted to locate a burglary suspect at 3 a.m. on the 100 block of Feathergrass in Berino, N.M. The suspect was located and charged with residential burglary.

• A driver was arrested and charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop for speeding at 3:15 a.m. near Fourth Street and Acosta in Anthony, N.M. The vehicle was also impounded.

• A battery was reported at 5:30 a.m. on the 500 block of Renteria in Tortugas. A female allegedly struck her male roommate several times for starting a fire to keep warm. She was gone by the time deputies arrived on scene.

• Two vehicles crashed at 10:40 a.m. at the intersection of Fourth Street and Acosta in Anthony, N.M. Minor injuries were sustained. The driver was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign.

• A male was charged with aggravated battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon at 11:43 a.m. on the 100 block of Swannack. The male allegedly struck one person with a shovel and threatened his mother with a pick ax.

• A car window was reported shot out with a BB gun at 12:15 p.m. on the 1100 block of Monroe in Anthony, N.M.

• Deputies responded to a report of an incorrigible child at 12:45 p.m. on the 400 block of Marquez in Anthony, N.M.

• A driver was charged with driving without a license after a traffic stop at 12:50 p.m. near Picacho and Motel. The vehicle was towed.

• Janet Carver was arrested at 1:04 p.m. on the 500 block of Renteria after she allegedly hit her boyfriend with a phone.

• Trespassing was reported at 2:45 p.m. on the 100 block of East Harding in Anthony, N.M. No one was found.

• Joel Garcia was charged with driving without a license at 5:07 p.m. near Thorpe and El Camino Real. The vehicle was impounded.

• Deputies responded to a custody dispute at 5:11 p.m. on the 500 block of Garfield in Salem, N.M. after the mother and father of a 2-month-old baby couldn't agree on whom the child would stay with. After the father agreed that the child should go with the mother, the mother allegedly attempted suicide at 11:30 p.m. and was transported to Memorial Medical Center. The child was given back to the father, who complained that the mother was spanking the baby on the backside as discipline. The incident was referred to the Children, Youth and Families Department.

• A deputy attempted to pull over a white Mazda sedan for speeding at 5:30 p.m., but the vehicle sped up and tried to elude the deputy when the emergency lights and siren were activated. After a short pursuit, the deputy ended the pursuit when the Mazda went into Anthony, Texas.

• A detention center release notification was made at 5:30 p.m. on the 500 block of Renteria.

• Roberto Flores was arrested at 5:35 p.m. near N.M. 185 and Foster Canyon Road after a traffic stop on charges of speeding, driving with a suspended license, no insurance and a warrant for failure to appear.

• Six adults younger than 21 were cited for being minors in possession of alcohol at 5:46 p.m. on the 800 block of Golf Course in Anthony, N.M.

• A verbal domestic was reported at 6 p.m. on the 300 block of Fossil View. The mother-in-law and daughter-in-law agreed to separate.

• Lance Walter was arrested after a traffic stop at 6:01 p.m. near Moongate and Corona on a warrant for driving with a suspended license.

• Javier Cadena was arrested at 7 p.m. on the 400 block of S. Medina in Chamberino, N.M. on charges of battery against a household member, resisting arrest, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and two counts of battery.

• The driver's side window of a vehicle was smashed at 7:33 p.m. on the 500 block of Scorpio Loop. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

• Douglas Rich Jr. was charged with a tag light violation, no insurance, driving with a suspended license, expired registration and two outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court after a traffic stop at 7:48 p.m. near Mesilla View and Chaparral Drive.

• The sheriff's office was contacted by the Mesquite Fire Department after unknown liquid was coming from the storage areas at Helena Chemical Company at 8:30 p.m. Deputies discovered a water pipe had ruptured. No chemical spill was found.

• Two juveniles from a foster home reportedly took their guardians' Cadillac at 10 p.m. on the 12200 block of N.M. 478 in Mesquite and later showed up at their biological mother's home on Do-a Ana Road. Juvenile Probation and the Criminal Investigation Division were called.

• Susana Alaniz was arrested on a warrant and driving with a suspended license at 10:13 p.m. at the Border Patrol checkpoint on I-25 in Radium Springs. Her vehicle was seized.

• Deputies responding to a 911 hang-up and an open door at 10:30 p.m. on the 1000 block of Van Buren found an elderly male had just been trying to dial out.

• A residential burglary was reported at 10:35 p.m. on the 1700 block of Lincoln.

• A driver was charged with driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop at 10:45 p.m. at mile marker 13 of N.M. 478 in Mesquite. The vehicle was towed.

• Dennis Ventura was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license at 10:52 p.m. near Thorpe and Del Rey. His passenger, Jennifer Maldonado, was charged with concealing identity and possession of an open container of alcohol.

• A suspicious vehicle at 10:53 p.m. at the I-10 rest area was found to contain a juvenile male and an adult female allegedly in possession of drugs and alcohol.

• A verbal domestic disturbance was reported at 11 p.m. on the 100 block of Commerciantes. The female was allegedly throwing things around the apartment. The male did not wish to pursue charges.

• Monica Perez was arrested at 11 p.m. after a traffic stop near Del Rey and La Reina on charges of cocaine possession, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and an outstanding warrant.

• A driver was charged with driving without a license at 11:09 p.m. after a traffic stop near University and N.M. 28. The vehicle was impounded.

• Pablo Torres was arrested and charged with aggravated drunken driving after a traffic stop at 11:10 p.m. on the 2700 block of Do-a Ana Road.

• Jacob Silva was criminally cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:37 p.m. after a traffic stop near Elks and Do-a Ana School Road.

• A driver was charged with driving with a suspended license at 11:45 p.m. after a traffic stop near N.M. 192 and N.M 478 in Mesquite, N.M. The vehicle was towed.

• Two warrants were served on Andrew Cortez during a traffic stop at 9:50 a.m. on Del Rey Boulevard.

• A stereo and cell phone were reported stolen from a vehicle at 9:55 a.m. No location given.

• Identity theft was reported at 11:15 a.m. at an unknown location. The victim reported a cell phone account had been opened with under their Social Security number, incurring a $600 debt. No location given.

• A warrant was served on Marina Martinez during a traffic stop at 2:16 p.m on Vado Drive.

• A juvenile female who had run away four days prior reportedly returned home at 4:02 p.m. No location given.

• A deputy responded at 4:30 p.m. to the 4600 block of High Hopes to a report of a non-responsive male in cardiac arrest. The deputy performed CPR and the man was taken by ambulance to a hospital. His condition is unknown.

• Darinn S. Ball was arrested and booked into jail on a warrant charging he was a fugitive from justice in Texas.

• A laptop was reported stolen at 5:34 p.m. from the 500 block of Calle Del Valle.

• Deputies responded to a verbal domestic dispute between brothers at 6:45 p.m. on Brady. The brothers were separated.

• An allegedly emotionally disturbed person reported a stolen vehicle at 7 p.m. on the 9400 block of Polaris. The family told the deputy the vehicle wasn't stolen, but was with another family member.

• A homeowner allegedly interrupted a residential burglary at 7:30 p.m. on the 4800 block of South Main Street. The homeowner followed the vehicle and called the sheriff's office and a deputy stopped the vehicle at a trailer park. Investigators were called out and the suspect remains at large. No further information about the suspect.

• Shantel Urtado was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license at 8:20 p.m. No location given.

• A driver was charged with driving with a suspended license at 9 p.m. near I-25 and U.S. 70.

• An allegedly emotionally disturbed person was placed into protective custody at 9:21 p.m. on the 4000 block of San Isidro.

• A vehicle was impounded and its female driver arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license and on a warrant for contempt of court after a traffic stop at 9:27 p.m. near East Lisa and Byrum Road in Chaparral, N.M.

• A utility truck was reported stolen at 10 a.m. from the 8100 block of Bataan Memorial West.

• Identity theft was reported at 11:27 a.m. on the 10000 block of Catana Court.

• Deputies assisted another agency during a traffic stop at 12:45 p.m. that allegedly revealed drugs at mile marker 132 on Interstate 10.

• A hit and run crash was reported at 2:08 p.m. on Hollyhock.

• A crash without injuries was reported at 2:15 p.m. near B.B. Romig and Sunday. The vehicle slid on ice and crashed into a utility pole.

• An ATV was reported stolen at 2:15 p.m. from the 800 block of Hays.

• A runaway was reported at 2:16 p.m. on the 2200 block of North Valley Drive.

• A crash without injuries was reported at 3:30 p.m. on the 300 block of Taylor. The vehicle slid on the ice and crashed into a utility pole.

• In a supplemental report to a residential burglary case on Flower Road, a mother called deputies to report her children had some property from another residence. The Criminal Investigations Division was called out.

• At 4 p.m., the suspects in a Tuesday burglary were located and a 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy were charged. Two additional juvenile suspects sought by CID were not detained by Juvenile Probation. Property was recovered from houses in the neighborhood where suspects had sold the stolen goods, and returned to its owners.

• A verbal domestic argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend was reported at 5:33 p.m. on the 900 block of Lark. The parties agreed to separate for the evening.

• David Moser was arrested at 8 p.m. on a charge of driving with a suspended license near Lisa Drive and Regala Way.

• A property owner at 8:30 p.m. reported juveniles walking through his property and damaging the fence. Juveniles found on the 1400 block of Old Field Circle told deputies they would not pass through the property anymore.

• Byron Cross was arrested at 11 p.m. on a warrant for failing to appear in Magistrate Court.

• Due to power outages, deputies responded to numerous residential alarms throughout the night. Many of them, associated with the blackouts, were reported in the Talavera area.

Wednesday

• A mother requested a report be made at 8:17 p.m. because her child's father was allegedly dropped off on the 300 block of Prescott Anthony 20 minutes later than scheduled.

• A male bleeding from the head was reported at 9:05 p.m. on the 100 block of Ristra. The male's girlfriend had already taken him to a hospital in El Paso by the time deputies arrived. They were told he fell on the stairs and hit his head.
