Font ResizeALBUQUERQUE - The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions' unemployment insurance call center will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
During these extended hours, claimants can contact the call center by calling (877) NM-4-MYUI, or, (877) 664-6984.
"The department, along with the governor's office, is encouraged that these expanded hours of service will help reduce the wait time currently experienced by our unemployment insurance claimants," said Celina Bussey, cabinet secretary designee, Department of Workforce Solutions.
The unemployment insurance claims system can also be accessed through the website, www.dws.state.nm.us, and will be available 3 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
The unemployment insurance toll-free phone option, (877) NM-4-MYUI will be available 24 hours a day for normal self-service functions.
