By Wednesday morning, the storm dumped up to 4 inches of snow in parts of Las Cruces and closed city streets, as well as U.S. Highway 70 and Interstate 25 between Las Cruces and Albuquerque.
In image 2, The storm caused a multitude of fender benders - about 30 in the city occurred in the morning hours Wednesday, said Las Cruces police Sgt. Carlos Wooten - including this one along Triviz Drive. There were no serious injuries from the high number of wrecks, he said.
