The following people were booked into the Do-a Ana County Detention Center Monday:

•Elvia Silvia Marquez-Nu-ez, 50, detained by the U.S. Marshals Service on a charge of violating federal immigration laws by falsely claiming U.S. citizenship.

•Jesus Chavez, 29, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office on charges of aggravated drunken driving, driving with a suspended license, speeding, shoplifting, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to pay fines on charges of drunken driving, speeding and accidents involving damage to vehicle.

•Ventura L. Reyes, 32, detained by the Las Cruces Police Department on charges of reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, running a stop sign and resisting arrest.

•Matthew S. Torres, 26, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office on charges of concealing identity, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.

•Fernando Carreon, 26, detained by the Las Cruces Police Department on a charge of battery against a household member.

•Edwin Sanders, 29, detained by the Las Cruces Police Department on charges of battery against a household member, interference with communication and failing to appear on a probation violation.

•Robert Gray, 20, detained by the Las Cruces Police Department for failing to appear.

•Blanca Dorado, 38, detained by the U.S. Marshals Service on a charge of amphetamine possession.

•J.D. Pringle, 23, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office for a transport order.

•Keith Gross, 24, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office on a charge of aggravated battery with possible death or great bodily harm.

•Juan Fransico Zuniga, 25, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office for a transport order.

•Jesus Corral, 35, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office for a court commitment on charges of drug trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Marisela Yolanda Villalba, 27, detained by the U.S. Marshals Service on a charge of child abuse.

•Patricia Cortez-Alvardo, 37, detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement on a charge of violating federal immigration laws by using false documents.

•Alfredo Martinez-Briones, 37, detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement on a charge of violating federal immigration laws by using false documents.

•Jose Martinez, 35, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office on charges of driving with a suspended license and not using seat belts.

•Greg Marine, 46, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office on charges of drunken driving, driving with a suspended license, no insurance, no registration and reckless driving.

•Alberto Torres, 29, detained by the Sunland Park Police Department on charges of defacing tombs, conspiracy to commit a second degree felony, larceny (more than $20,000) and receiving more than $20,000 in stolen property.

•John Hernandez, 32, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office for a probation violation.

•Steve Rodriguez, 48, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office for a court commitment.

•Benjamin Dominguez-Madrid, 46, detained by the Drug Enforcement Administration on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

•Abdelrahman F. Alghuwairi, 42, detained by the Las Cruces Police Department on a charge of battery on a health care worker.

•Isaac Diaz, 35, detained by the Las Cruces Police Department on a charge of battery against a household member.

•Joe M. Lamb, 52, detained by the Las Cruces Police Department on two warrants charging driving without a license and failure to properly display registration and plates.

•Iris S. Marquez, 26, detained by the Mesilla Marshals on a charge of aggravated drunken driving.

• Clay Mitchell, 50, detained by the Las Cruces Police Department on two warrants for failure to appear on charges of no registration, no insurance and driving with a suspended license.
