Collectors seek rare instruments

LAS CRUCES - The International Vintage Guitar Collectors Association will be at the Ramada Palms, 201 E. University Ave., Feb. 22-26 in search of rare and collectable guitars.

The IVGCA has recently uncovered some rare guitars. A 1960 Gibson Les Paul guitar sold for $100,000, a 1961 Gibson Les Paul SG sold for $25,000 and a 1954 Shore Line Gold Telecaster sold for $19,000.
