LAS CRUCES - Students, parents, staff and residents are asked to submit their nominations for the name, mascot and colors of the new high school, which will open on Dripping Springs Road in the fall of 2012.

Anyone interested can take the survey online on the LCPS website, www.lcps.k12.nm, or pick up a blank form at any LCPS school and fill it out.

Completed forms are due by 5 p.m. Feb. 22. You can e-mail completed forms to LCPS Chief of Staff Karen Robles at krobles@lcps.k12.nm.us; you can mail them to the Superintendent's Office, Las Cruces Public Schools, 505 S. Main St., Suite 249, Las Cruces, NM 88001; or you can hand-deliver them either to your school office or to the superintendent's office located in Loretto Towne Centre at the address above.
