Font ResizeLAS CRUCES -The fires are out and last week's prescribed burns on Fort Bliss and BLM lands southeast of Las Cruces are being called a success.
One burn on the McGregor Range cleared approximately 500 acres of brush and grass fuel. A second burn near Dripping Springs cleared 50 acres with the intent of protecting cultural and natural landmarks.
