LAS CRUCES - A serious motorcycle crash Tuesday morning sent a rider to University Medical Center in El Paso by helicopter, a passerby said.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene Tuesday at 8 a.m. on Taylor Road, north of Las Cruces.

The only spokesmen for the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office (the lead responding agency) and Do-a Ana County government officials were out of the office Tuesday and unable to provide the cause of the crash or the identity of the victim.
