LAS CRUCES - The Good Samaritan Society-Las Cruces Village will host its annual garage sale 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 26 at 3011 Buena Vida Circle.

Kitchen ware, collectibles, furniture, appliances, classy junque, glassware, linens, pictures, computer and stereo components and TVs are among the list of items for sale, as more than 200 families, residents employees and neighbors have contributed. Items will be accepted through Feb. 24. Money from sales will go toward a new 25-seat bus for resident trips.

Also at Good Samaritan, authors Cherry Jamison and Virginia Hanley will read parts of their book at 2 p.m. Sunday. The book is on sale for $25, with $5 of that going toward the new bus. For more information, call Jamison at (575) 556-2119
