The Dona Ana Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls Wednesday

• Arturo Blanco was charged with driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop at 1:30 a.m. near O'Hara and N.M. 278 in Anthony, N.M. The vehicle was towed.

• Gabriel Lopez was arrested on a warrant after a traffic stop at 5:05 a.m. near N.M. 136 and Airport Road.

The Dona Ana Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls Tuesday

• Matthew Sanchez, 28, was arrested on an outstanding warrant after a traffic stop at 12:35 a.m. near Holman and Kings Road. The vehicle was impounded due to Sanchez's suspended driver's license.

• John Breedeen arrested and charged with drunken driving at 1:07 a.m. after a traffic stop near Thorpe and Strange Lane in Do-a Ana.

• Aldo Sanchez was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license at 1:30 a.m. after a traffic stop near Sonoma Ranch and Jade in Las Cruces. The passenger also had a bench warrant for their arrest.

• After being arrested and transported to jail after a traffic stop, Leigh Gay was charged with battery on an officer at 3:25 a.m. for allegedly punching a detention officer in the face while being booked. The case was forwarded to the Criminal Investigations Division.

• An auto burglary was reported at 5 a.m. on the 1800 block of Westwind in Las Cruces. The victim reported two guns were stolen from his unlocked vehicles.

reported at 8:06 a.m. on the 100 block of Horseshoe Circle. Vehicles parked in a garage were allegedly ransacked and the residence was allegedly burglarized.

• Auto burglary was reported at 9:11 a.m. on the 1900 block of West Wind. The suspects allegedly entered a vehicle parked on the property and took an amount of coins.

• Child abuse was reported at 10:09 a.m. at Garfield Elementary School. Two children, 5 and 7, were allegedly abused by their mother's boyfriend. Both had visible injuries to their faces and bodies. Both the Criminal Investigations Division and Child Protective Services were contacted and responded. The suspect was at large.

• Auto burglary was reported at 1:30 p.m. on the 100 block of Commerciantes. The suspect broke a window and stole a radar detector.

• Residential burglary was reported at 1:37 p.m. on the 100 block of Feathergrass.

• A deputy responded to a 911 hang-up at 2:50 p.m. on the 1400 block of Old Field Circle. A victim there had reportedly been attacked by someone armed with a bat, but the victim refused to cooperate. The Criminal Investigations Division responded and Omar Davalos was arrested on charges of evading an officer and a bench warrant.

• Criminal property damage was reported at 3:35 p.m. on the 19700 block of South N.M. 28. Someone kicked the victim's gas meter and damaged it.

• A complainant at 4:06 p.m. on the 1200 block of Sita Way called because she believed someone broke her pipes.

• Jorge Vacio-Villalobos, 19, was arrested on three warrants at 4:08 p.m. at magistrate court, 110 Calle de Allegra.

• Aaron Celis-Martinez was arrested and charged with marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession and his passenger, "Joaquin Vasquez-Rivera" was arrested and charged with the same, plus concealing his identity - because he was later found to be Guillermo Hidalgo - and other citations at 4:10 p.m. after a traffic stop near Acosta and Fourth Street in Anthony, N.M. Hidalgo was also charged with a felony burglary warrant from 3rd Judicial District Court, concealing his identity (again), a New Mexico State Police warrant and a warrant from Texas.

• Harassment was reported at 4:48 p.m. on the 6700 block of Shorthorn. Two subjects received criminal trespass warnings and were released.

• Telephone threats were reported at 4:55 p.m. on John Grisham after a sister-in-law and a brother-in-law had an argument.

• A domestic disturbance was reported at 6:20 p.m. on the 700 block of Regala Way after a woman was allegedly pushed off the steps by her brother-in-law when she went to pick up her husband.

• A domestic disturbance was reported at 8 p.m. on the 600 block of Byrum after a woman reported being unable to contact her husband via phone to pick her up from work. The husband was sick, so he didn't answer the phone, and when the woman got home, a verbal argument ensued.

• A driver was charged with driving with a suspended license, no insurance or registration after a traffic stop at 9:30 p.m. near Solano and Spruce. The vehicle was impounded.

• Dunia Vargas was arrested at 9:31 p.m. after a traffic stop at O'Hara Road and N.M. 478 in Anthony, N.M. on a warrant charging failure to pay court fines and fees.

• Aaron Celis-Martinez was charged at 10:45 p.m. at the Do-a Ana County Detention Center after detention officers allegedly found marijuana hidden in a body cavity.

The Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls Monday

• A traffic obstruction was reported at 9:15 a.m. near Tres Caballos and N.M. 228. A maroon Mitsubishi Montero Sport was allegedly abandoned, obstructing traffic on both lanes of the road.

• An attempted suicide was reported at 9:42 a.m. on the 9400 block of Antares. A female was transported to a medical facility after allegedly taking a large amount of pills and drinking whiskey.

• An aggravated burglary was reported at 10 a.m. on Railroad Track Road. The victims, who had not been home since Feb. 4, reported a safe in their home was open and a firearm was missing, but nothing else.

• A jail inmate release notification was made at 10 a.m. to victims on the 5400 block of Angel Fire.

• Graffiti was reported at 10:04 a.m. on the 800 block of Clark, an apartment building wall. Photos were taken of the vulgarity sprayed on the wall. During investigation, it was learned that juvenile Joshua Padilla, a resident of the apartments, allegedly committed the crime. He was cited.

• Jacob Caballero turned himself in at 11:10 a.m. to the jail on an outstanding sheriff's office warrant.

• Criminal property damage was reported at 12:32 p.m. near Hayside Road and Eastside Mesilla Levy. A construction grader was damaged.

• Deputies assisted at 12:48 p.m. on the 900 block of Anthony Drive, the probation office, where Ruben Navarrete was arrested on a warrant charging a probation violation.

• Identity theft was reported at 1:17 p.m. on the 1300 block of Livesay. The victim reported receiving a letter from the Social Security office asking if she was employed by a company in Minnesota.

• A domestic disturbance was reported at 2 p.m. on the 2700 block of East Idaho Avenue. A male allegedly hit a female on the hands and arms and bit her left shoulder at a location on the 3600 block of Camino Seco.

• A driver was arrested on an outstanding warrant at 2:15 p.m. on the 800 block of Anthony Drive after a traffic stop.

• Assault and battery was reported at 2:17 p.m. on the 5500 block of Bee Hive Lane. A male subject reported his ex-manager went to his home and confronted him about some issues at work. The ex-manager allegedly kicked the victim in the groin and left the scene.

• A resident at 2:57 p.m. on the 4800 block of Quail Run reported being concerned about a message left on the answering machine. She was afraid long-distance charges would be on her bill as a result of the message.

• Jack Hayes, 51, was arrested at 3:21 p.m. after a traffic stop at mile marker 155 on I-10 on an outstanding warrant from Otero County. Hayes also received several citations.

• A vehicle was towed at 5:17 p.m. after a traffic stop near Church and Marquez because the driver did not have a license.

• A runaway was reported at 5:36 p.m. on the 9500 block of Comet Drive.

• Telephone threats and harassment were reported at 6:01 p.m. on the 400 block of McDonald. A female said her ex-boyfriend was calling, harassing and threatening her.

• Gang vandalism was reported at 8:33 p.m. at a trailer on the 7600 block of Amber

• A battery that occurred on Friday at an unknown address on Timbers was reported at 8:45 p.m. A 26-year-old and a 17-year-old female were reportedly involved in a physical altercation.

• Telephone threats were reported at 9:15 p.m. on the 100 block of Schneberger. The complainant said their mother-in-law was calling and threatening them.

• A vehicle was towed and citations issued after a traffic stop at 9:30 p.m.

• A domestic disturbance was reported at 9:35 p.m. on the 900 block of McKinley when a female approached a deputy involved in a traffic stop and said Luis Soliz had been in an argument with his brother. Soliz was arrested on three outstanding warrants.

• A civil matter was reported at 10:20 p.m. on the 1800 block of Roadrunner in Las Cruces. The complainant reported her neighbor turning her water off.

• Leigh Gay was arrested at 10:40 p.m. after a traffic stop at Picacho and Ray Luchini's in Las Cruces for a probation violation and other traffic charges.

• A vehicle was towed and citations issued after a traffic stop at 11 p.m. at an unknown location.

• Matthew Alarcon was arrested at 11 p.m. on a bench warrant after a traffic stop on Mesa Grande in Las Cruces.
