The following people were jailed at the Do-a Ana County Detention Center between Wednesday and Thursday mornings:

• Carmen Carrasco, 47, detained by the U.S. Marshals Service on a charge of cocaine possession.

• Luis Lucero, 20, detained by the Las Cruces Police Department for failing to appear at a probation appointment and at therapy.

• Freddy N. Vasquez, 40, detained by the U.S. Marshals Service on charges of aggravated drunken driving, driving with a suspended license, failing to appear in court, possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle and resisting arrest.

• Juan Ramon Ramos, 31, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office for failing to pay fines.

• Javier Ramos Mercado, 25, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office on charges of concealing identity, failing to appear in court and failing to pay fines.

• Crystal Escobedo, 27, detained by the Las Cruces Police Department for failing to appear and failing to pay fines.

• William Stern, 59, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office for failing to pay fines.

• Reyna Quintana, 32, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office for failing to appear in court.

• Roman Hernandez, 63, detained by the New Mexico Department of Transportation for failing to pay fines.

• Jaime Leah Powers, 26, detained by the Las Cruces Police Department for failing to pay fines.

• Vincent A. Mata, 23, detained by the Las Cruces Police Department

• Jesus Chaparro Lopez, 28, detained by the Las Cruces Police Department on a charge of aggravated stalking.

• Ray Thomas, 37, detained by the Las Cruces Police Department on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

• David Almaraz, 31, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office for failing to appear in court.

• Alejandro V. Olivas, 24, detained by the jail for a court commitment.

• Alex Cobarrubia, 58, detained by the Las Cruces Police Department for failing to pay fines.

• Jaime Perez, 37, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office on a warrant.

• Christopher P. Bustamante, 21, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office on charges of drunken driving, criminal property damage, failure to give immediate notice of an accident, leaving the scene of an accident and no insurance.

• Richard Beltran, 34, detained by the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office on charges of assaulting a household member and battery against a household member.
