LAS CRUCES - The Do a Ana County Sheriff's Department will conduct sobriety checkpoints and saturation patrols throughout the month of December in an effort to reduce DWI-related crashes, injuries, and deaths.
Enforcement projects are scheduled for Dec. 23 and 31.
All of the above projects will be held in undisclosed location and areas within Do a Ana County, sometime between the hours of 6 p.m. and 4 a.m. Deputies will be looking for all types of violations with emphasis on intoxicated drivers.
The department also wants to remind residents of the possible temporary seizure or permanent forfeiture of motor vehicles driven by persons convicted of multiple DWI or driving with a revoked license.
