LAS CRUCES - Doña Ana County is seeking applications from residents interested in serving on the Camino Real Regional Utility Authority, which serves the water and wastewater needs for the City of Sunland Park and the Santa Teresa area.
The authority's members are appointed by the Do-a Ana County Board of Commissioners and the Council of the city of Sunland Park for staggered two-year terms. The open position is for an at-large board seat. Preferred applicants will have demonstrated backgrounds in professional real-estate and property development, engineering and/or economic development. Residency in Doña Ana County is required.
Applications will be accepted through 5 p.m., Dec. 22. Applications will consist of a letter of interest, current résumé and three references, and should be mailed or delivered to the Doña Ana County Utilities Department, 845 N.
