LAS CRUCES -- Children ages 6 to 12 are invited to register for the city's Winter Madness Camp, which will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 20-30 and Jan. 3-4.

The camp will focus on various sports, arts and crafts and field trips to local attractions including the Las Cruces Regional Aquatics Center in a fun and safe environment.

Only 60 spots are available and the cost is $60 per child. Snacks will be provided, but participants will need to provide their own sack lunch. Registration is ongoing at Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley. More information is available by calling (575) 541-2563.
