LAS CRUCES - Las Cruces pets go missing every day.
But it's the unusual case where their owners are able to videotape their disappearance - and prove it's a theft.
One Las Cruces family is hoping a description of the man who stole their beloved German shepherd named Bruno will help lead to his return home. The black and tan-colored dog was stolen from the Elks Club area Thursday night.
Luckily, the home's video surveillance cameras revealed the Grinch to police: a male driving a 1980s Chevy or GMC truck, black-and-silver two-tone in color, with a lift kit.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Bruno or his alleged dognapper is urged to call (575) 640-0701.
There is a reward for his return.
