Anthony "Tony the Vet" LoBue walks through downtown Las Cruces on Saturday during his yearlong trek across the country to promote veteran issues and awareness. LoBue served two years in the U.S. Army, three years in the Texas National Guard, and one year in the Army Reserve. His journey began Sept. 11 of this year, and will conclude at Ground Zero in New York City on Sept. 11, 2011.
