Font ResizeLAS CRUCES - Profits from an upcoming benefit dance will help children pay the costs associated with joining T-ball and youth softball teams.
The dance will be from 7 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the Beverly Hills Hall, 150 N. Hermosa. Profits will provide vouchers to players 8 and younger and help pay registration fees and buy cleats, mitts and uniforms.
Local band Animmo, formerly Cruces, will provide the music. Food will be available for purchase and alcohol will be available, so attendees must be at least 21 years old.
The dance is co-sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Las Cruces and the Kiwanis
AKTION Club at Tresco Inc. The program is part of the Kiwanis mission of serving the children and the local community.
