LAS CRUCES - A car wash fundraiser to benefit the family of Oñate High School senior Jerry Zamarripa is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Families and Youth Inc., 1320 S. Solano Drive.

Donations will help defray medical and other expenses. Volunteers are needed.

Donations are also being accepted at Citizens Bank under the name Yesenia Solis, Zamarripa's mother.
