LORDSBURG - A 32-year-old Los Angeles man is missing and believed to be on foot outside Lordsburg.
David Ristovski appears to have walked away from his vehicle when it ran out of gas on Interstate 10 near the New Mexico-Arizona state line sometime between Wednesday and Saturday, according to New Mexico State Police Lt. Eric Garcia.
State police traced Ristovski's trail to the railroad tracks adjacent to Interstate 10, milepost 3, near Steins Pass, about 19 miles west of Lordsburg.
Ristovski is described as white and bald with brown eyes, 6-feet tall, weighing approximately 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, white T-shirt, black sweat pants and gray Converse shoes. He has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and has a violent past, according to state police.
