The Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls Monday morning:
• A domestic disturbance was reported at 12:10 a.m. on the 800 block of Hetinga. The victim was allegedly struck in the face by a male who left the scene before deputies arrived. A warrant is being obtained for his arrest.
• Vandalism was reported at 12:28 a.m. on the 1700 block of Anthony Drive. A female reported her Chevy Envoy was spray painted on the passenger side while the vehicle was parked when she was working.
• Ryan Taschall was cited at 1:38 a.m. after a hit-and-run crash on the 5100 block of Del Rey Boulevard after he allegedly lost control of the vehicle, ran it into a ditch and fled on foot. He was cited for being a minor and allowing himself to be served alcohol in addition to his traffic offenses.
• Bryan Martinez was arrested at 1:50 a.m. and jailed on a charge of battery on a household member after a domestic disturbance on the 400 block of Las Parcalas Loop in which he allegedly struck a female in the face with a tall religious-type candle in a glass container.
The Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls Sunday:
• A juvenile on probation was arrested and jailed after allegedly having a breath-alcohol content of .09 at 12:26 a.m. on the 5200 block of Sioux Trail.
• Benjamin Rodriguez Jr. was cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol after deputies responded to his home at 12:49 a.m. on the 200 block
• A domestic disturbance was reported at 1:53 a.m. on Vistoso Loop. A female reported her girlfriend punched out the bedroom window to "guilt trip" her for wanting to leave. The female with the cut hand refused medical treatment.
• Shots fired were reported at 4:13 a.m. on the 400 block of Minter Road. Deputies spoke to male subjects found in the area, but they did not admit to anything.
• Criminal property damage was reported at 7:32 a.m. on the 6000 block of Calle Cobre. Unknown suspects smashed a screen window to the home as well as front, rear and passenger windows to a 1972 pickup truck.
• Breaking and entering was reported at 7:52 a.m. on the 100 block of Concepcion Avenue in Berino, N.M. The window to the home was found open but no items appeared to be stolen.
• Omar Gonzalez was arrested on a warrant at 8:03 a.m. on the 700 block of Madrid.
• Criminal property damage was reported on the 400 block of Marquez Street in Anthony. Suspects damaged a back window, passenger window and door of a Ford F150 truck.
• Theft of a drainage canal irrigation gate was reported at 9 a.m. on the 7000 block of McNutt Drive in Santa Teresa, N.M.
• Maria Lozoya was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in Magistrate Court and for driving with a suspended license after being stopped at 10:45 a.m. on N.M. 185 for speeding.
• A female at 12:38 p.m. on the 900 block of Yucca Road reported finding an old white sweater on the canal bank wrapped with duct tape with what appeared to be bone fragments inside.
• Alberto Granillo was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in Magistrate Court after the car in which he was a passenger was stopped for speeding at 1:45 p.m. near Do-a Ana Road and Dalyrmple Road. The driver was issued several citations.
• A domestic disturbance was reported at 2:20 p.m. on the 9400 block of Bataan Memorial West. The female victim left the scene and did not want to cooperate when contacted by phone, nor would she tell deputies or dispatch employees where she was.
• A firefighter with the Anthony Volunteer Fire Department reported losing his hand-held radio at 5:27 p.m. on the 800 block of Anthony Drive.
• Harassment was reported at 5:32 p.m. on the 700 block of Lincoln. The complainant is allegedly receiving harassing texts and calls by a suspect who was allegedly driving by the home and making rude gestures.
• Jenna Martinez, a previously reported runaway, returned to her home at 6:09 p.m. on the 3100 block of El Camino Real. Juvenile probation authorized to detain her for a probation violation.
• Audie Dickert was arrested on charges of driving with a revoked license and his vehicle was seized after a traffic stop at 6:38 p.m. near Moongate and Schaefner.
• Vandalized property was reported at 6:45 p.m. at the park at Tile and Juan Diego.
• A previously reported runaway was reported returned at 7:20 p.m. to Los Encinos Way.
• A child custody dispute was reported at 7:20 p.m. on the 100 block of East Berino. The caller reported her ex had not returned their children on time. A parenting plan is in place.
• Burglary was reported at 7:20 p.m. on the 100 block of Ella Mae. The victim reported electronic equipment was stolen.
• Marco Franco was arrested on a warrant and his vehicle impounded after a traffic stop at 8:26 p.m. near Albidres and N.M. 26 for an equipment violation.
• Johnny Morales, Joseph Angel, Carlos Ruiz and Bobby Garcia was cited for possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 9 p.m. near N.M. 478 and Cunningham for an equipment violation.
• A family disturbance was reported at 9:01 p.m. on the 600 block of Mesilla View. Two brothers were arguing.
• A mother reported her 15-year-old daughter had been drinking with two males, ages 18 and 19, at 9:20 p.m. on the 1100 block of Savannah. A deputy found the males walking away from the residence and an investigator was called out, but the district attorney's office decided not to prosecute them for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Both were cited for being minors allowing themselves to be served alcohol.
• Yuma Melendrez, 18, was issued a summons for being a minor in possession of alcohol at 9:30 p.m. on the 1100 block of West Savannah.
• A residential burglary was reported at 10:17 p.m. on the 700 block of Montana Vista. The homeowner returned from being out of town to discover her home had been broken into and several items taken. The freezer had also been left open, spoiling her food.
The Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls Saturday:
• A domestic disturbance was reported at 3:20 a.m. on the 600 block of Paseo Real in Chaparral, N.M. An adult male subject had been battered by a family member.
• Estella Lorera, 42, was arrested on charges of battery against a household member at 6 a.m. on the 100 block of Feather Grass in Berino, N.M., after a caller reported Lorera was intoxicated and had hit her daughter.
• Josue Rosales was arrested without incident at 8:40 a.m. on a warrant charging him with stalking on the 400 block of Perea in Chamberino, N.M.
• An adult male was reported missing at 8:55 a.m. at the Anthony sheriff's station. The man hadn't been heard from since Wednesday, which worried the reporting party because the man was a heavy drinker and was last known to be at the Welcome Inn Bar in Anthony, Texas.
• A 69-year-old man reported his daughter took his driver's license, credit card, cash and mailbox key at 9:42 a.m. on El Suspiro Court in Mesquite. The female said she was keeping the items for safety purposes because her father is in the beginning stages of dementia and is being treated medically.
• Telephone harassment was reported at 9:55 a.m. on the 1900 block of Desertwind Way. The 48-year-old female reported receiving harassing text messages and calls from her daughter's boyfriend after a recent breakup. The two are now back together living in El Paso.
• A disturbance was reported at 12:59 p.m. on the 3100 block of El Camino Real. A male had an argument with the residents of another space.
• A maintenance worker at Vado Elementary School found a spent .45-caliber bullet on the northwest roof of the school and a spent 9 mm bullet on the front northwest grounds of the school at 1:44 p.m. No bullet holes were found in the school structure.
• Auto thefts were reported at 1:48 p.m. on the 9100 block of Butterfield. The victim received an anonymous letter while working out of state that 13 of his old junk cars were removed from his property and delivered to West Side Recycling. One of the vehicles was located within the fence of the closed recycling property on Bataan Memorial West and photos were taken. The criminal investigations division will follow up.
• A car was driven off at 1:56 p.m. at the Pic Quik on the 2600 block of Do-a Ana Road after taking $28.03 in gas.
• About $250 worth of copper was reported stolen at 2:22 p.m. on the 400 block of Anthony Drive in Anthony, N.M. The suspect cut the $40 locks to a gated yard and stole the copper the previous night.
• Utilities theft was reported at 2:40 p.m. on the 1800 block of La Puenta Lane in Las Cruces. El Paso Electric reports $651.61 in utilities had been stolen between Nov. 2, 2010 and Friday.
• Isaiah Portillo was cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol and being a minor and allowing himself to be served alcohol at 2:59 p.m. on the 1700 block of Livesay in Anthony, N.M. after deputies responded to a report that Portillo was harassing others. Portillo was allegedly found with two 32-ounce bottles of beer.
• A supplemental report was filed at 3:40 p.m. to an auto theft from the 100 block of Peaceful Pines in La Mesa, N.M. The suspect was allegedly selling the rims miscellaneous parts from the stolen truck. The victim also reported the suspect was making telephonic threats. Attempts to locate the suspect were unsuccessful.
• A domestic disturbance was reported on Lilly Way at an unknown time. The victim said she and her boyfriend got into a fight Feb. 5 after he came home smelling of perfume. When she confronted him and tried to leave, he allegedly grabbed her arm, leaving marks. She told deputies she hadn't reported the incident earlier because she is in the country illegally and the boyfriend had threatened to call federal authorities on her. He is no longer living at her home.
• A missing person was reported returned at 4:45 p.m. on Pescado. He had been reported missing Saturday by his wife. He said he just went out, but refused to give any information about where he had been. No injuries or signs of criminal activity were noted.
• Jeff Valencia was arrested on two warrants and for allegedly driving with a suspended license and his vehicle was seized after being stopped for failing to signal at 6:56 p.m. near the intersection of Gerald and Lopez.
• A domestic disturbance was reported at 7:27 p.m. on the 800 block of Fourth Street. The husband and wife involved in the fight over a driver's license each told deputies to run the other's information - both Carlos Mu-oz and his wife, Ms. Soto (first name not given) were arrested on outstanding warrants.
• A domestic disturbance was reported at 7:27 p.m. on the 7500 block of Amber Drive. The male, who did not have a valid driver's license, wanted his wife to give him back a vehicle that was in both their names. The male was given a ride back home to the 6900 block of Gopher.
• An incorrigible child was reported at 8:26 p.m. on the 5200 block of Pueblo Trail. Gabriel Lopez, 14, was allegedly drinking alcohol and taking potent prescription drugs. His mother said he had a history of violence and running away. Lopez was cooperative but, refusing to be taken home, was transported to the Juvenile Assessment center.
• A woman reported a paint ball had been shot at her RV at 8:29 p.m. at an unknown location. No damage was done and the paint had been washed off.
• Rafael Lozoya was arrested on a charge of aggravated drunken driving after being stopped at 9:05 p.m. near N.M. 478 and Carver for driving with his head lights off.
• Breaking and entering were reported at 10:42 p.m. on the 5800 block of Sandpiper. The homeowner reported coming home to find the door open but nothing apparently taken from the home.
• A passenger in a vehicle pulled over for a traffic violation at 10:52 p.m. near McCombs and Paloma Blanca gave an officer his brother's information, not his own, and only revealed his own information after the driver was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Joshua Martinez was issued a citation for concealing identity and released.
• A woman reported a domestic disturbance at 11:23 p.m. after claiming her boyfriend struck her several times after getting angry at her when a text message from another woman was received on his phone while the girlfriend had it.
• A woman at 11:42 p.m. on the 800 block of Hetinga reported her rear pop-up hatch on her vehicle was vandalized with a "W."
• A 15-year-old female was reported at 11:43 p.m. to have runaway from her home on the 3100 block of El Camino Real.
The Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls Friday:
• A domestic disturbance was reported at 8:48 a.m. on the 5200 block of Apache Trail between a male and his girlfriend because she had hired a relative to install a dryer and the boyfriend said he could do it himself. The couple was separated.
• Maria Alicia Ponce-Saucedo was taken into custody at 3:04 p.m. near Do-a Ana Road and Dalrymple after a traffic stop for expired registration on her ice cream van. Border Patrol was called after it was discovered Ponce-Saucedo was in the country illegally. The sheriff's office towed the van. A relative who showed up and had no driver's license also had her vehicle towed.
• Jessie Robles, Mark Linares and Macario Linares were all cited for being minors in possession of alcohol at 9:28 p.m. on the 800 block of Granite Street in Anthony after it was reported they were smoking marijuana at a home with no adults present.
