When I first started building web pages I used HTML only. That was in the early 90's. I soon after discovered dreamweaver and then photoshop, then flash and so on. I have learned to incorporate all of them into a very nice looking package!
Over the years I have taught myself through many toiling hours how to program in PHP and MySQL. Most of my database experience is in direct MySQL command execution although I also have the ability to tie databases into web development.
Custom web design is a great thing. All you need though to make a website custom is through in a few photoshoped pictures and your done. What is 'custom' is the fact that you have a website that is not limited to a set of definitions like other websites.
